Don’t you just love it when a new trend comes along that forces us writer folk to refashion a word to describe it (it’s just laziness really). Boho (followed by Faux-ho) was one, Grunge is an oldie but a goody as is Seersucker, then there was Ombre and now it’s Painterly. Seriously, hands up if you’ve ever used that phrase before? No, well you better wrap your tongue….
