Off the Cuff: How to wear cuffed jeans

I've been on the hunt for cuffed denim and have officially found the holy grail courtesy of J. Crew (above) . I can't get enough of the finds and then figuring out how to wear it all with what I call my little shop-by-number moment.

I’m having a serious cuffed jean moment right now, and I blame J. Crew with their impeccably styled, um, Style Guide, aka, catalog. It’s all about the cuffed jean, straight leg, skinny-ish, and how to wear it for me.

Like I said, the fashion finger for this post is pointed directly at the classic prepster brand itself, J. Crew with the inspiration for the look stemming directly from the May Style Guide Catalog (shop online:
SHOP IT: 1. Steffen Schraut Cream Sailor Stripe Blazer (shop online: 2. Ann Taylor 3/4 Rolled Sleeve Silk Blouse (shop online: 3. J. Crew Vintage Straight Jean (shop online: 4. Calvin Klein Women’s Vivian Suede Platform Sandal (shop online: 5. J. Crew Brompton Straw Hobo (shop online: 6. Kenneth Jay Lane Faceted Oval Necklace (shop online:
The canvas on this cuffed jean look called for a pop color in my opinion, so I went with a bold mandarin/coral on the necklace and shoe to add some energy into the mix. The how to wear it part of this equation is officially covered, but by no means am I done. Actually, I’m just gettin’ warmed up people. See more picks that caught my eye and the inspiration that helped me figure out how to put them into a look to love.

I “accidentally” wear cuffed denim ALL the time. When I say “accidentally” I mean “I don’t want to pay to get my pants taken up therefore the only option is to cuff them about 3 times so I don’t trip over the ends”
