What to wear: Crisp White

With style and class, the classic white shirt epitomizes elegance and sophistication. Unless, of course, you happen to me in which case, your poor shirt suffered the tastiness of last night's dinner. Yep, the deliciousness of a bowl of spaghetti bolognese got the better of me and now my lonely white shirt sits in the laundry basin soaking in detergent. Major sad face.

Please fashion Gods, save my shirt! Also note to self: NEVER wear white on a dinner date!

So if you can wear a crisp, white shirt without getting messy, I say go for it girlfriend! Team with a cute pair of silky shorts and silver pumps for a night out with the girls. Finish the look with classic bun and slick of peachy pink lips. And maybe, stick to the clear cocktails. Think vodka, soda, lime - just in case!

I love white tops but hate it when I get specks of sauce on it when I eat so I avoid wearing them to lunches or dinners too. Love her shorts!

I always seem to wear white when I have spag bol for lunch LOL. I do love the white shirt though, a great staple for any wardrobe.

I agree! A definite staple, that’s so versatile.

Wow, LOVE that outfit! :) White is more flattering than some seem to think, as is proven here. Though I agree, don’t wear it while eating – in fact I’m so bad that I usually have to colour-coordinate my dress/shirt to my meal. I don’t know how but I usually end up with at least a spot of sauce on my upper half! :/
