In the navy: Navy homewares that are better than black

Navy homewares that are better than black

There is something so sophisticated about the colour navy. It's deep and dark but without that brooding, Addams Family feeling that black can leave you with. It complements most colour schemes — from all white rooms to gilded edges or even a dark and stormy colour palette. It is a pop of colour that is less in your face and more of a surprising whisper when you realise the depth of the colour.

Navy homewares are basically the new neutral. I'm loving seeing this colour (at least my favourite colour of the month!) in everything from bed linen to serving ware, and yes I'm already planning on painting one of my walls navy. Black is just so over.

I actually just made my bedroom navy, it was so hard to pick a dark and broody enough shade of blue!

I love navy, and we’re currently furnishing our new bedroom (but thinking about maybe having a navy carpet so maybe additional navy accents would be too much?) love that sleep-over ottoman though! :) Navy is so elegant and adult :)

  • Beautynutter says:

I think navy is a great colour for homewares, it is dark so won’t get dirty too quickly but is more fun than black.

I have a navy lounge so I am a fan of this colour for sure.
