It seems super counter-intuitive, but we're actually smack bang in the middle of quality citrus season. In my head I guess I always assume that cherries were a Winter fruit (even though they're only a Summer fruit!) and citrus was for Summer, but it turns out I've been wrong my whole life! Blame it on their Summery colours or their thirst quenching juiciness, but I just can't get warm weather out of my head when I see oranges and mandarins.
