Despite what the weather reports say I have strict rules about my seasonal dressing. I pack away my scarves and Winter coats on the first of September and — through sheer force of will — grit my teeth through what can then officially be referred to as unseasonably cold weather. I do this because Spring is easily my favourite season and I like to embrace it wholeheartedly from day one. It's for this reason that I also get a jump start on Spring cooking the second we get to September.
