Spring into it: Spring salads that make the most of the sunny seasons
Now that Winter is over and we're all rubbing our bleary eyes after months of hibernation (or at least months of eating rich, fatty foods and refusing to get out of our PJs unless it is absolutely necessary), we're starting to get into that terrifying time: bikini season. Even though I'm a firm believer that you can rock a bikini in any size (just see plus-size blogger Gabi Fresh looking hot as hell in her bikini designs if you don't believe me!), the fact is that when you're feeling bloated and heavy from overindulging, the thought of your bare stomach is enough to make you burrow back in under your doona.

I personally believe that diets are the worst and that restricting what you eat is a surefire way to make yourself miserable, but I also think that when the weather gets warmer and you're not covered up by so many layers, there's nothing better than switching your lunch from a heavy soup to a light and fresh salad. Not only will you get the usual health benefits (such as glowing skin and a reduction in your bloating) but you'll get to enjoy some of the amazing Spring fruits and vegetables in the best way possible. These salads mix fruits with vegetables a lot of the time for a dose of colour and a side helping of a broad range of nutrients.
