21 trending shoe styles you should consider adding to your wardrobe

Just when you think you have enough shoes (impossible I know!) and you have curated your collection to have you pretty much covered for any occasion, in comes a bunch of new footwear trends and you and your credit card are absolutely screwed!

Well, I’m not here to help the situation, if that’s what you think. No way! In fact, I’m here to show you that shoes just keep getting better so your addiction to buying them is probably just going to keep getting a little worse…

For such a basic idea, high end designers just keep hitting it out of the ball park with amazing new shoe styles that slowly trickle down to affordable (and not so affordable) versions that you and I can wear around the city. Mules have been around for a few seasons now, but they just keep changing ever so slightly that I always need a new pair for every season. And who can argue with the fact that yes, it is necessary to get a new pair of $300 leather boots every Winter! Actually, I’m sure your partner can argue pretty well on that one but their opinion is invalid.

The shopping gallery below takes you through just a few footwear trends that I think you should take note of and maybe add to your collection if you have enough storage space (when am I getting a closet like in Clueless is my next question). Even if you can afford to add just a few of these to your wardrobe, you’ll be looking pretty stylish on the streets!

I love fresh flowers and hate green peas. My guilty pleasure is leopard print everything. You’ll never see me without painted nails (unless something catastrophic has happened). I am terribly addicted to Earl Grey tea and anything with 100s and 1000s on it.
