Back in my day all we kids had to play with was a stick and a rolled up ball of duct tape. Actually, that isn’t true at all, but I was a child in the 90s so my toys did involve a lot of leotards and bright colours (I’m thinking specifically about some rollerblading dolls we used to own). These days it isn’t enough for them to be clean and dressed, now kids toys even need to be decidedly on trend.
Yep, that’s right. If you have a design aesthetic running through your house you better believe that the standard tonka truck will definitely be out of place (unless that design aesthetic is vintage kitsch maybe) and so rather than force toddlers to suffer through the indignity of having just an iPad to play with, these luxe toys were created. Whether you’re imposing the fancy play things rule in your own home or are looking for something really special to get for a baby shower that will definitely be kept for years to come you can’t go past these luxe baby toys.
