There’s no denying I’ve never been a massive fan of ebooks and I’m a paperback girl through and through. The punishment I put the pages of my favourite books through is horrifying to some and shared by other book die-hards (folded edges, ripped pages, broken spines), but it’s the main reason I’ll always prefer reading my novels in paper form. Non-fiction books, on the other hand, the kind of general wellness ebooks that I’ll want to refer back to time and time again or read snippets of when I need a boost, those are strictly reserved for the digital world.
So what exactly do I mean by “wellness ebooks”? Well, obviously they’re digital (hence the “e” at the start) but in terms of the wellness factor they can come at it in many different ways. Some talk about how we can be happier, more creative or have a better memory. Others encourage introspection about how we live our life and how we want to live our life. Ultimately the thing that is great about these wellness ebooks is that every one can help you unlock some of your hidden potential and improve your life in millions of different ways.

Yep, I laughed at the irony of reading about learning to unplug from your devices on an electronic device, but the point that Andi Lew makes is that it isn’t all or nothing. Learning to unplug every now and then and reconnect with who you are and what you want is vital for our most productive and effective lives.
