I just tested …  RosehipPLUS Certified Organic Rosehip Oil

Here’s what I thought …

“I absolutely loved trialling Rosehip PLUS! My skin has never been so soft (I have had two people besides my husband comment on it!), and it is nourished even in this cold miserable weather we have been having.
The oil is light enough that I haven’t broken out in pimples, but moisturising enough that I haven’t needed any extra heavy-duty product on areas of my face where I usually experience dry skin in Winter.

I have enjoyed using Rosehip PLUS on my neck and hands, too. It sinks into my skin quickly and easily, leaving no residue. The texture is not too runny so it doesn’t end up everywhere, but I also don’t need to use much pressure to spread it over my skin.

It only has a light scent, quite pleasant/neutral, and the colour (as pictured on the back of my hand) is a light orange but does not transfer onto any surfaces. The dropper of the bottle makes it easy to dispense the few drops needed to moisturise my entire face and neck.

I would definitely purchase this product again, regardless of price, as it has changed the look and feel of my skin for the better, in no time at all ?Very happy, 5/5 stars

Here’s what I thought …

“I have dry sensitive ageing skin & found this product suited my skincare problems perfectly.

I found it very easy to apply & only needed to use 3-4 drops on my face prior to applying either day or night cream/moisturiser. It was absorbed really quickly & did not leave any oily residue. My sensitive skin did not react at all to this gentle product. Since I began using this product only a week ago, my skin has felt less dry/ tight & is well nourished & moisturised & this effect has lasted all day.

I also applied it to a couple of dry scaly patches on my arm which have improved & are almost gone now.

I think this product will be very economical to use & a 50 ml bottle will last for months. I looked at it’s price compared to others which was a pleasant surprise as it is a great price for such a good product.

I believe that the packaging is very appropriate for the product as it is a natural organic product with no artificial additives which is perfectly reflected in the simple unpretentious rustic package design. It is not at all gaudy.

There is very little scent, perhaps a little woody or earthy if anything, but quite pleasant & unobtrusive, not at all overpowering or distasteful, which is exactly as expected from this totally natural product as there is no artificial fragrance added.

It is a pale yellow colour but this disappears once the oil has been absorbed so not a problem for me at all. It has a slightly thinner consistency than other oils & serums that I have used which perhaps helps with the rapid absorption of this product.

I definitely prefer this to other similar products such as Bio-oil which contains a whole list of unrecognisable ingredients & possibly harmful chemicals (not sure if I am allowed to mention other brands so feel free to remove this comment if not appropriate).

i will definitely continue to use this as I have been very impressed with the results so far & will probably buy it in future as it is a great price.

Here’s what I thought …

“The Rosehip PLUS oil has a lovely silky feel with a faint nutty smell. The eye dropper is simple to use and makes the oil application super easy. For three days I used the Rosehip PLUS oil as a face moisturiser and it didn’t work for me. I then switched to using it as a body moisturiser particularly on my feet and lower legs and it worked a treat! I find the skin on my lower legs gets very dry over winter and this has helped the appearance.”

Here’s what I thought …

“I have crazy dry skin that is made so much worse in Winter, but have avoided trying oils up to this point because I had pretty bad acne back in the day and have been worried about making it flare up again.

I have to admit the dark orange colour was a little bit scary and I thought I’d end up looking like an Oompa Loompa but was pleasantly surprised when it absorbed without a trace.

It has been a week since I started using it at night and I feel like my skin is starting to look a little bit more even. It has been less dry and scaly during the day and if I follow it up with a moisturiser at night it is extra soft and glowy in the morning (like sleeping in a mask).

I have not had any break outs this past week – in fact my skin has just been smooth and soft with nothing negative to report!”

Here’s what I thought …

“I loved the little brown bottle with the stopper of this Rosehip oil – it made it feel a little bit like an old-timey apothecary elixir!

I was expecting it to have a floral scent but the oil smells more doughy – kind of like a toned back Play Doh. I have been using this every night in place of my usual moisturiser and find that it sinks into my skin really quickly and keeps it feeling soft and smooth.

When I go to wash my face in the morning my skin feels incredible!

I tried wearing it during the day but since it doesn’t have SPF in it I had to add layers on top. I didn’t really like how it wore underneath my makeup during the day but that might be because I didn’t leave it long enough to fully sink into my skin.

I really loved this product and can’t wait to see what my skin looks like when I’m done with the whole bottle!”

  1. I’ve been using this product recently and i absolutely love it! Especially for winter. I mix it in with my usual moisturiser for a bit of a hydration boost!
