"OK, so to start the disclaimer on this review, it says it is for "blonde, highlighted, silver and fine hair" , and while I do have the odd "silver" strand, I am a brunette, as is most of the DDG office, so it was a little tricky to know if we got the full goodness from this delish smelling prod! Also I grew my hair extra long for my wedding, and it's in dire need of a trim!
So on to the review!
Basically this is Moroccan oil's less expensive, less chemical-packed and better smelling (seriously, you will want to swig it from the bottle!) third cousin.
I applied a small amount to my towel dried/damp mane before letting it air dry (too hot for hair dryers right now), and the results was much glossier, and seriously silky locks (I kept asking my husband to pat/smell my hair, he know thinks I am extra weird!).
So besides the strange looks you will get from passers by when you get sprung stroking/sniffing your coif, I am pretty sure everyone will love this product!"
Would you buy it? Probably

Firstly I love this product. I love the bright blue label so I will easily spot it shopping. I have dry porous blonde hair and it was perfect timing when the ARGANIA HAIR OIL arrived. My hair turned from drab to fab. Unlike other oils I have tried this one did not leave an oily residue on my hands. I like the fact its organis as well.
Love it..Thumbs up!

I LOVE beauty products, always have. In the speech my dad made at my 21st he even included how many items I had in the shower. So when my bottle of Argania Light Hair Oil arrived on my desk I couldn’t wait to get home and wash my hair and try it. As a fan of a similar product with a squarer bottle and more aqua label, I was interested to see the difference.
Let me paint you a picture I have short – medium length strawberry blonde with peroxide blonde balayage, and as I am growing our short hair its not been cut in over a year and the ends are highly coloured – healthy in sections but by no means amazing. So I shampooed and conditioned with my salon branded products (as I am a bit of a product snob) and towel dried my hair and then poured a small amount of the Argania Light Hair Oil and massaged into my hair and allowed to air dry.
It smells amazeballs, and almost instantly my hair felt much soft and silkier. As my hair dried the one thing I was most impressed about was the natural shine I now had. Having used many a shine product in the past I felt that some make my hair look like it’s a synthetic wig – not with the Argania Light Hair Oil, just a natural glossy shine.
As someone who doesn’t wash their hair every day, I am now on day 2.5 (photo to show) and it is still soft, silky and shiny, ok it will be washed tonight but I am defiantly impressed! And at $35 it is great value!

Thanks for the opportunity to trial Argania Light Hair Oil. This is my first review, so be kind
)
The fragrance is divine and the oil was nice and light in texture. I’m not a fan of the screw on lid. The first time I poured it, too much came out and I think when the bottle is full, it is difficult to only pour a small amount. Perhaps a spray or dropper would be more suitable.
I have very fine, very curly blonde hair which I love to wear straight, so the first time I tried it, I straightened my hair. I didn’t really notice a difference, perhaps I didn’t use enough. I have since used it when my hair is curly with a little more and this time I think I used to much as my hair was quite limp. Obviously there is a little trial and error with how much to use. I have found it most effective for me at night after a shower as more of a “treatment” which I wash out in the morning. My hair has felt a little “silkier” after doing this for the last 5 days.
I think if there was a different “applicator” i.e a spray or dropper I would be much more inclined to pay $35 for it without fear of wastage.
Firstly, a big thank you to the DDGD team for selecting me to trial this exciting new product. I’ve never heard of Argania, but I was keen to try this argan oil as I can compare with the others I’ve tried over the last year or so.
The bottle has an eye-catching blue label, but is disappointingly fitted with a screw top lid which makes use fiddly and time consuming, not mention possibly messy! A pump bottle would make much more sense with this type of product. The delicious scent just about makes up for the dodgy lid, it’s seriously gorgeous, yet not overpowering, making it a joy for your senses to apply. The oil is also nice and lightweight, very clear in colour and not at all sticky. Tick tick tick!
I’m not sure what makes this oil appropriate for light hair, but I just happened to have my hair bleached (for the very first time!) a few weeks ago, so this timing was just perfect. I’ve successfully used the Argania Light Hair Oil on damp hair, dry hair and using a lot more this time, as a leave-in treatment. There was definitely some trial and error in working out the right amount to use. In the pic I’ve attached, I’m on day 3 since washing, and this morning just lightly ran some of the oil through the ends.
My hair is particularly dry right now and certainly soaked up this oil with glee, leaving it feeling much smoother, silkier and the shine is particularly amazing and exciting. I’ve missed shiny tresses since moving away from brunette, this oil has brought it back
All in oil, when comparing to similar products, it’s not the best, but not the worst and a good mid-range price example. I’d recommend to friends and consider buying for myself when I run out.

Hahahaha, all in oil…. see what I did there?! spazz!
Love it! My hair is usually really dry and frizzy. I put a a few drops on my hands put it mainly on the ends of my hair. It helps reduce the frizz and keeps my ends smooth, it has also helped reduce the dryness. It smells great too!
Argania Hair Oil is the best thing since sliced bread!
Ok so first of all the bottle looks great with lovely packaging that is happy and bright, felt so good to open it. The smell of the product is totally divine and is so summery and deliscious! I’m seriously addicted to the smell.
I have blonde fine hair, and usually use morocan oil to help style and give my hair the shine it needs, so i started by switching to really test the product out and seeing if it lives up to the promises it makes. I’m so happy over the moon delighted at the volume and texture it provides without leaving an oily greasy residue. I’m not into spending hours on my hair as i’m a busy photographer and full time mum so need a quick fix with great results.
This product is now number one on my to do list when getting ready to go out. It really is beautiful and i use it on damp and even dry hair when in a hurry. It does provide the shine and volume making my hair stay styled with a great texture to it throughout the day. Basically a brilliant buy! I would recommend this to anyone with blonde or fine hair!
The only thing i would love to see improved is a hand pump on the bottle as it can be difficult to adjust the quantity needed using the neck of the bottle to pour the product onto your hands. Besides that I’m in love and its my new bestie and the only product to style and rescue my hair as it really delivers looks, volume and shine, smells fantastic and does not leave any grease! Cannot say enough great things about it….. Thank you so much to the Drop Dead Gorgeous team for sending me this life saver!
