Sooo, I need some help!
What moisturisers are DDGDers, with mainly dry skin, using? I feel that my skin just sucks up any moisturiser, yet leaves a sticky feeling all over my face. I use almond oil to moisturise also, and help lift scars and lighten dark circles under the eyes, but I want a really good moisturiser. Preferably one without a lot of 'bad' ingredient. A more natural one. I have been thinking about a vitamin E moisturiser. Is anybody using that?
Thank you !

I get really dry skin in winter, and I got a sample of DermaVeen Everyday moisturing lotion. It’s made from oatmeal, and you should definitely try this if you have dry skin. I put this on the dry patches that I get and it works so effectively, you can wear makeup over it and it won’t make your foundation patchy. And if you want a more natural one, this is perfect, their tag line is ‘created by nature – proven by science’.
Ooo, you had me at ‘oatmeal’!. It seems like it is working well for you. I will look into it. Thanks!
I’ve been using (& loving!) the Sukin Facial Moisturiser, I switched over Summer and my slightly sensitive, slightly combo skin type has been loving this natural option. Highly recommeded!!

Woah, thought that was a small, thumbnail sized image, apologies for the image overload!!!
I am loving that it is paraben free! I am trying to cut out all of those bad ingredients from my cosmetics (tough with the makeup brands I love though). Thank you x
I’m loving the Australian MooGoo at the moment on my dry skin – they have some great products at reasonable prices. The moisturisers are really good and they have some fantastic serums like the pure rosehip oil. Have a look at

I have been meaning to buy a pure rosehip oil! Thank you x
Try Clinique’s Moisture Surge Intense Skin Fortifying Hydrator – http://www.clinique.com.au/product/1687/20522/Skin-Care/Moisturizers/Moisture-Surge-Intense-Skin-Fortifying-Hydrator/index.tmpl – It’s super moisturising and was developed with Flight Attendants in mind, who suffer from dry skin being up in a plane all the time.
I love the A’Kin range, it’s all natural and Australian. My friend put me on to it- she has very dry, eczematous skin and it’s the best thing she’s been able to find; I luckily don’t have those problems but I love it all the same.
The moisturiser is here: http://www.purist.com/akin-face-care/moisturisers/akin-rosehip-amp-shea-intensive-moisture-anti-oxidant-complex-50ml
It goes really well with the cleanser and toner (I especially love how you rub it in on your bare skin.) My skin tends to tingle and be generally uncomfortable with toners, but not with this one!

You can get it in priceline or DJs (sometimes on special)
I find that if I just use a simple vitamin E cream such as Sorbeline moisturiser it seems to do the trick!
I have been wanting to use vitamin E cream, especially because it’s supposed to be great for removing acne scars. I might have to try it out.
i have at least one pimple at all times but i also get dry skin (i am 32 and think its not fair that i STILL have pimples) i use the natio acne products which have a night and day cream and they work gret, however sometimes i get dry skin. when i am dry i use LUSH imperialis moisturiser, i love it as it’s not greasy at all. i use it under makeup each day as i think it works as a great primer too, it’s $33.98 but lasts forever!

Hello
Have a look at the Clarin’s hydrating range. They’ve got an entire specific range for this skin reason. Kiehl’s also has an ultra hydrating cream that i’ve been using of late and that I love. Rosehip oil is a cheaper way to add moisture into your skin all whilst being natural. Rosehip oil is 95% organic and all natural. It helps with scaring and acne as well as hydrating and discolouration caused by the sun. I’m a huge huge fan of it! You’re probably wanting something more than just a standard moisturiser, so I would look for anything that is “super” moisturising or hydrating or “ultra”. These words get used a lot!
Hope this helps
